This is my stepdaughter Crystal Graham tying one of my favorite patterns for Norfork at the ’07 Conclave in Mountain Home and thanks to FlyFish Video for the result
I think this was basically my mate and fellow guide Chad Johnson’s pattern But Crystal’s a dab hand at whipping them out with the thin profile I really like. This time last year we had a customer bring in a photograph of some midges he had pumped from a trout’s stomach. He must have had a pretty good macro camera as they were very clear, and in everyone there was a clearly defined copper sheen about the thorax.
So no wonder it works. It particularly like it on overcast days but it works most of the time
